"Dar la vuelta a la tortilla" = Flip the omelette*
I love this expression! It means that a situation has completely changed! I believe the English equivalent is to turn the tables or the boot is onthe other foot now.
"¿Oyes lo que dice? Es increíble cómo le ha dado la vuelta a la tortilla"
"No sé cómo lo hace, pero consigue darle la vuelta a la tortilla y poner a todos de su parte"
"Con el nuevo cambio de gobierno se ha dado la vuelta a la tortilla"
"Una vez que se expone la situación en público, es difícil darle la vuelta a la tortilla"
