"Que pela" = that it peels*

I know this is very shocking, but it is true!. The same idiom can express such contradictory meanings:
1) piping hot/ boiling hot 
OR 
2) freezing cold

Only context can help you out with this one :D
"El agua está que pela"
"Madre mía, hace un frío que pela"
"¡No toques el plato, que está que pela!"
